Kiumarc ghoorchian
was born in the Ghazvin city of Iran in 1953.
I have experienced Realism and nature style before 1376 and have several exhibitions from works in nature. I have done about one hundred work in my new style since 1376, that have been in different subjects like nature, prophets and many about molavi`s poems. Now I have about 25 completed works about molavi. When I paint about visual, imaginative, and subjective traditions in molavi`s poems, my paintings all give molavi`s scent and feeling. For example:
The performing process of paintings is in extemporaneously style,
that comes in abstract space with happening figures ( that mostly are not in full face ), flowers and plants, butterflies and birds (symbols of flight and spiritual promotion ), leaves ( symbol of growth ), horses
(an ole symbol of ancient Iranian miniatures).
Space in my paintings are made with symbols of Iranian traditional stucco decorations, Iranian traditional tile ring and mosaic tiles as symbol of distilled of Iranian traditional art that come into existence from agnosticism culture and civilization, and symbol of Iranian traditional artists efforts regard to connecting with unitism and unite existence . They can make some kind of satisfaction and deliverance and depth tranquility feelings.
Hair –pin ornamentations as a symbol of Iranian traditional miniatures is also in some of my paintings. I have used similar colours and also oranges- yellows- blues-greens and blue greens that all are similar to Iranian traditional colours in most of my paintings.
I have placed nature as basis of my efforts, but at extremity, deciding about forms and colours and existence of them, happens on canvas at the moment of creation and expressing my innate feelings and thoughts.
The spaces are deified in to geometrical spaces and the total movements are mostly curved and spiral, but I have created perspective by emphasizing to texture and tones of colours and making feeling of different depths at viewer mind. The style of colouring are flat colours, blending, thin colouring, transparent colouring, and also with textured tonality and sometimes contours and lines in necessary, are the other specifications of my paintings.
